cV. Design challenge!
When our site is finished we will have several banners that change every time you load a page. Right now all we have is the temporary banner cyrus made.
We need our users to make banners, and so I am announcing a competition! This will be the first of many competitions to come leading up to and following the completion and unveiling of this site. In the future we will be hosting a deathmatch for the infamous title of "AWP KING", and a mapping competition.

1st.PRIZE: steamgift: Audiosurf or a game of equal or lesser value. (some good alternatives are CS1.6, CS:CZ, HL2:Episode1, and DOD1.3)
2nd Prize: INTERNET HIGH FIVE!
Consolation Prize: We will probably have your banner cycling on the site with the others for years to come.
Rules:
1. Banner size must be 970x200
2. Filetype must be .JPEG .PNG or .GIF
3. Must be SFW (safe for work)
4. Dilzy, idiotic, or rulebreaking entries will automatically not be considered for being used as one of our banners.
5. submit finished products to SgtBash on or before the last day of competition.
6. You are allowed up to 9001 entries. If you win 1st place with one of them, your other entries won't count towards 2nd prize.
7. Competition is open to anyone except for cyverse founders and communists.
Judging:
1. Bash, Cyrus, and Duke will judge the competition. All entries will be reviewed and each judge will privately nominate their favorites for first prize.
2. If an entry is the only one to have all the judges nominations, then first prize is awarded.
3. If several entries share the most nominations, then they will become the only entries considered. The judges will then bicker and argue until a clear winner of at least 2/3 majority is picked out of these.
Guidelines:
1. Quality is more important that filesize, but be conservative.
2. The image should include our cV. tag and/or "cyverse gaming community" and/or "cyber universe gaming community"
3. If you used photoshop, providing a .PSD is appreciated.
A lot of people have not turned in entries, but I know quite a few were already working on banners and many were interested. I am giving a 7-day extension, entries are due DECEMBER 7TH, last chance. good luck guys!
I have created a simple CV logo your free to use in your banner entry. It is basically the same as the interlocking CV illectrik made, but when I asked for a psd to get the general shape he bitched and moaned about how it was his work. So, I had to go spend 1 entire minute (i literally timed it) in photoshop typing two letters, putting a rectangle to connect them, and cutting part of "V" short. Unlike ill though, I will allow you to use my oh so hard work. enjoy.
